Credit Cards for Cats!!

Earlier this week I visited a Real Estate office in Manhattan.  I spent about 30 minutes discussing credit and the scoring systems and how important it is for Agents to educate their customers before applying for a mortgage.  There were many questions and a lot of sighing when learning what the rules of credit are.  Many of the individuals were frustrated about what they learned as most people are. It can be overwhelming at first to find out how credit works.

Towards the end of the meeting a woman began to discuss some concerns she had about having joint credit cards with her deceased husband.  There was much banter back and forth and a few little conversations about our discussion.  I started to talk about the credit card rules changing when the same woman, that had a concern about joint cards with her deceased husband, started to tell all of us a funny story. Recently she received a letter from a credit card company. When she opened it she saw that is was a credit card. When she looked a little closer she realized it was in her cats name. We were all laughing hysterically. I thought it might be fun to share that with my readers.
